Blogmaster’s Note

Here at Everybody’s Dummy we strive for continuity and context, or had you noticed. Sometimes it takes us years to cover a catalog, and sometimes it’s easier to just bang through it and get it out of the way. At the same time, we like to think we’ve evolved and even improved over time, just as we’ve updated various entries to highlight new versions of an album, or modify a rating or content when something is realized.

When we first started reviewing Rolling Stones albums four and a half years ago, it made sense to start with Big Hits, as we were never that enamored with what preceded it. In time (and because most other review sites don’t ignore these albums) that decision only created a gigantic hole in our foundation. So we finally rectified that, and tackled the first five Stones albums in order. Those posts have now been retagged to appear before Big Hits, where they belong. We hope you enjoy them, if you haven’t already. And thanks, as always, for reading. (We’ve also done some housekeeping in the sprawling Led Zeppelin category and Robert Plant sub-category, to improve chronological flow there as well. Isn’t that sweet of us?)
